About Us

At Mosquito Shield of Mooresville, husband and wife owners Brian and Ashley Garner have a goal of becoming the most trusted mosquito and tick control company in the area, allowing customers to enjoy spending time at their homes with family and friends outdoors.
Ashley was born and raised in the Lake Norman area and has lived there for most of her life, while Brian has lived in Charlotte since graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. Their territory sits on the east side of Lake Norman – a great place for boating, fishing, and hiking, all while being a short drive to Charlotte.
''An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. That’s true with Mosquito Shield’s approach to our products. With 20 years’ experience developing our blend of all-natural oils, we use these oils and select EPA-registered control products for 3-pronged mosquito control:
1. Mask: Mosquitoes are attracted to breathing. Our proprietary mosquito product masks the CO2 you exhale so they can’t find you.
